The high side wall semi trailer is developed for agricultural products that occupy significant volume but are transported in bags, cartons or secured packages. Higher solid panels provide more containment than a standard low side wall while retaining sectional access for loading and unloading.
Body height should be chosen according to cargo density. Making the walls unnecessarily high increases tare weight, wind resistance and operating effort. AOHA can calculate a practical wall height using the customer’s typical bag size, total cargo volume and legal payload.
Optional tarpaulin bows and a weather cover protect the cargo from rain and dust. Internal lashing points and removable partitions can help separate loads and maintain even distribution.
