The 3 axle 40ft side wall semi trailer combines the flexible chassis of a flatbed with solid side panels that help contain cargo. It is widely used for bagged grain, fertilizer, cement, pallets, steel products and mixed regional freight.
The side walls are normally divided into manageable sections so that operators can open only the area required for loading or unloading. The panels can be hinged, removable or designed with detachable upper sections according to the application.
AOHA configures side-wall height, floor structure, panel locks, suspension and cargo-securing points around the customer’s typical goods and loading equipment. Forklift operations require special attention to deck thickness and cross-member spacing.
