Flatbed Semi Trailer
The flatbed semi trailer with removable side posts is designed for operators who need an open platform but also want additional lateral support for long or bundled cargo. Posts fit into reinforced stake pockets along the deck edge and can be removed when the trailer carries containers or oversized loads.
The side posts are not a substitute for approved cargo restraints. Chains, straps and lashing points remain essential. However, correctly designed posts help organize timber, pipes and structural sections and reduce the risk of cargo shifting during loading operations.
AOHA can vary the post height, spacing, material section and storage arrangement. The deck can also include twist locks, front headboard, winches and anti-slip plate, allowing one trailer to support several cargo programs.
