AOHA supplied a container sidelifter solution to a logistics operator in Chile for loading, unloading and transferring standard containers without relying on external cranes.

A logistics operator in Chile handled containers between ports, warehouses and customer facilities.

At some delivery locations, cranes and container handling equipment were not always available. This caused waiting time, increased operating costs and limited delivery flexibility.

The customer therefore required a trailer-mounted system capable of independently loading and unloading containers.

AOHA recommended a container sidelifter equipped with front and rear lifting units.

The system allows the operator to lift a container from the ground, transfer it onto the trailer and unload it at the destination. It can also transfer containers between trailers when operating conditions permit.

The stabilizer legs provide support during lifting operations, while the control system helps the operator manage lifting movements.
